Hello, friends! Today, I'm sharing the cover for His Christmas Star, book four of The Cowboys of Bison Ridge! It will be releasing on July 5th to coincide with the Christmas in July events that happen in the romance community that month. I've always wanted to do a Christmas in July book, but my Bells Pass series traditionally releases in November, which is when everyone looks for it. Since I unexpectedly wrote a Christmas cowboy romance, I decided this was the year to do it! His Christmas Star follows Tobi Star and Joseph Nash, two friends who grew up together in Wellspring but drifted apart after the tragic death of Tobi's twin brother. There are reasons for their love/hate relationship (well, the hate is mostly on Tobi's part) and the two quickly realize they finally need to talk about those reasons in order to move on.
Side note: His Christmas Star, just as the first three books, deals with grief. The Cowboys of Bison Ridge is a grief series and there are a lot of heavy moments between the characters as they face their past and the people they lost. There are plenty of moments of joy, love, and happiness too, but I want to be clear that the books feature grief and loss as the main theme. BLURB: Wellspring Sheriff Joe Nash is convinced nothing can take him by surprise…until a deathbed confession leaves him wondering who he is and where he belongs. Tobi Star is in trouble. As the only working cowgirl on Bison Ridge, her job at Heavenly Lane is changing, just not fast enough. Secrets always have a way of coming out, but if hers do, her job won’t be the only thing she loses. Joe and Tobi find themselves faced with the ghosts of their past demanding absolution; to do that, they must learn to forgive each other as they follow their Christmas star to a brighter future together.
I recently did a Facebook Live to reveal the cover and read the first chapter. If was able to share it here if you'd like an introduction to Joe and Tobi! Again, the book releases July 5th! I look forward to hearing from readers about this final installment in The Cowboys of Bison Ridge!
