First off, I did a little dance when I saw that M.L. Broome had written a Christmas novella! I was excited to jump in but was even more excited to discover It Must Have Been the Mistletoe had some of my favorite tropes, yes as in multiple! I'm a sucker for the best friends to lovers romance, not to mention forced proximity, followed by the ex-fiance. Well, I got them all in this short, steamy Christmas novella!

Penny is spending another Christmas alone. She was supposed to be married by now to her best friend turned lover, Jackson, but instead, he went off to L.A. to play in a band and forgot she was waiting for him at home.

Wait a second, Jackson disputes that claim!

Unfortunately, Penny doesn't know that because she cut Jackson out of her life completely and hasn't spoken to him since she broke it off with him over a year ago. Enter the best friend, who did a little luncheon date with one very sad and upset drummer. She just happened to drop a hint about where Penny was spending her Christmas vacation this year.
